Last Few Bites

The end of the year is upon us. This year has been so unexplainable, what do you think? I had a lot of fun baking my way through the year, and I hope I can do the same next year. Maybe I'll set some New Years Resolution around baking and cooking or something...
I made some super yummy muffins from Bakerella's site today. I think it was called "Mini Maple Chocolate Chips Pancake Muffins", or something like that. Anyways, they were SUPER AMAZING! I made them normal size instead of mini (Note to Self: Purchase a mini-muffin tray in the near future), and added a bit of cinnamon. Then I found some un-made "ready-to-bake" cookies in the freezer (those Philsbury ones, with the cute designs), and made them within the hour. The first half were a bit over baked, and the second half under baked. And when I looked at the package it said "Do not eat raw cookie dough", I laughed. Ever since I was really little I've been eating those cookies raw... (Only one or two!) I can't wait 'till the Valentine's ones come out, then I can make the cute little heart ones. It's sad to think that I've made all these elaborate recipes, yet I love just putting these little guys on a tray and throwing them in the oven for a couple minutes... Eh whatever, I STILL LOVE THEM ANYWAYS!

Have a good New Year everyone!

SORRY!!

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in what, 15 days or something??? To me, that is unacceptable. I must post more, I've just been doing so much I can barely focus on my blogs (I have multiple blogs). I think this post should be dedicated to my new muses ^_^, since I've been obsessed with some bands that I need to share with you all.
The first band I've gotten into recently is VersaEmerge, this really cool band my friend recommended me. Their music is really, indulgent, I guess. You get really into the melody and everything. My favorite song is probably "Moments Between Sleep".
The next band that I've gotten back into is Linkin Park. It might just be that I can relate to some of their songs more now then before but also I like how Linkin Park is a mix of rock, rap, and (in some but not many songs) scream-o. Yes, I sometimes like scream-o. DON'T JUDGE ME! My favorite song is most-definitely "Breaking the Habit", because I can relate so much to it and just it's a good beginning. Super EPIC!!!
The last band I've also gotten back into is the Ting Tings. Their style is more electronic, pop, and dance. As you can see I like a lot of different kinds of music ^_^. I also love their music videos, really well-made. My favorite song (and music video. I want to get it on iTunes if they have it) is We Walk. The beat is really catchy and makes you just wanna dance!

Just had some chocolate milk, I think I'll random dance around the house now xD
Have fun shoveling snow everyone!

Must-Read

Oh-My-Gawd this is a must-read, Nylon Street View! This book goes beyond the runways, and to the streets. Style all around, it's godly. If you've never read this, read it now. I love the glossy-like pictures, and all the diversity in styles. Tell me what you all think of this book :)

December Decisions

Decisions, decisions; watch 25 days of Christmas, or SKIP OUT ON ANTM?! UUUUUUGH I MISSED IT! But the good news is that Ann won ^.^ If she lost I would've been sad; she's just an amazing inspiration for people who don't think they fit in (like me, sadly...). Enough about me, HAPPY HANUKKAH! :D I got my prezzie on the first night; a gold Juicy Couture starter bracelet and a gingerbread 2010 Limited Edition Charm. I feel so freaking all-mighty rich girl xD. Now I know how the girls in the Clique feel.

Turkeys and Tunics

Black Friday; when everyone goes spending their money like they'll never shop again. I sadly didn't get to go to the mall, but I did stop at Micheal's Craft Store and Barnes & Noble, as well as this cute boutique near my house. I got some yarn for my scarf, cards for my friends, 2 books, and a pair of leggings and a drop-waist tunic. The picture isn't what I got, but very similar. The only difference is the color, and that mine doesn't have the detail on the front of the cut-out back.
And since I can never go to Barnes & Noble without stopping at the cafe (a horrible habit of mine), I got a Light Mocha Frappachino. Those things are so FREAKING AMAZING!!

Enjoy the weekend!

Spaced as Spearmint Gum

I was bored... So yeah ^.^ But also I found out I can't chew gum because I got rubber bands on my teeth; but they're not even that bad!! :P Torture to teenage society; braces. Where do you stand in the war against imperfect teeth?

Cookbooks and Camis

I have learned something; if you're bored, read cookbooks. For whatever reason I don't know what, reading a cookbook makes me less bored and more inspired. And drinking White Chocolate Kisses tea is good to drink when you're freezing and can't seem to figure out your science homework >.<
I'm so excited for the holidays, is that strange? It's not even thanksgiving but I already know what's going to be in the boxes for Hanukkah and Christmas. And I can't wait until the "25 Days of Christmas" Starts up on ABC Family. For whatever reason, I just love to look at all the cute holiday films; my favorite being the Charlie Brown Christmas Special. But what about the other holidays?... No respect...

Don't let the cold keep you down!

New Video and Frosting Fun

Just put up a new video! It's on here, click if you wish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDBGd913sU8. Today I made some gingerbread cookies, aren't they cute? I never actually used a cookie cutter until today... Sad, right? But I had fun!! :D This is the first of many new things I never did. I also took the train today, so I had some very nice views :-) It'll hopefully inspire me to do amazing designs one day... Ugh, my throat hurts, I need sleep... I should be asleep, but I kinda want to watch SNL tonight... Oh choices...

P.S. So happy! I'm getting Juicy Couture charms for the holidays! Gingerbread man and a New Years one too! Sonia feels so freaking spoiled xD

One Creative Cookie :-)

These cookies are the yummiest things I've ever eaten... It was like Cookie God!! The flavors; butterscotch, semi-sweet and white chocolate chips, walnuts, a hint of vanilla... If you ever have a spare hour or two in your day, make some amazing cookies. My brother and mom just loved these!! :D I think that this is a definite keeper... Also, cookies + hot chocolate with Fat-free whipped cream = Yummyness
Now I've been having an obsession with Bath & Body Works anti-bacterial hand cleanser things, and the Warm Vanilla Sugar is the best, next to Sweet Pea of course! I put my bottle next to the cookies to show my love of sweet stuff. Stay warm! Drink green tea! It's delish' times 10!!

A Happy Hello

Dear Fellow Bloggers and Readers,
Hello! My name is Sonia, and this is my blog. I have another blog that you can look at, it's http://fashioningup.blogspot.com/. But this blog will be different. Besides my daily life and such, I'll write more about my other passion; cooking and baking. I just love it. And fashion is something I follow like it's my religion. The reason I compare fashion to religion is that it's flexible; you don't need to worship it line-by-line in the Bible, right? And like religion, fashion comes in many different shapes, colors, and forms. So keep out for my new posts, I'll try to post every few days, and maybe every other day. Catch you on the couture club ;)
